Both men are coming into this battle on the back of ultimate wins. Cruz defended his belt effectively last June, as he defeated Urijah Faber by consistent choice at UFC 199 & Garbrandt vanquished Takeya Mizugaki at UFC 202, through thumping him out in the first round. This could be one of Cruz's hardest difficulties , as Garbrandt has won every one of the ten of his expert battles.
